Cozy cabins to rent in Saugatuck

cozy cabins to rent in saugatuck

Winter is a season many people dread, but it doesn’t have to be. Yes, it’s going to be cold, driving conditions are going to get worse, and it’s going to be dark for larger chunks of the day. While some might choose to find reprieve in warmer climes, there’s another option: find cozy cabins to rent along the Lake Michigan lakeshore.

When the temperatures start to drop, reasons to don thick knit socks, drink warm beverages, and cuddle up near a fire grow in number. So instead of running from the winter, embrace the season with a vacation full of hygge.

What the heck is “hygge” ?

Hygge is a Danish term that means “a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being,” and in the colder months, Saugatuck is brimming with it.

The Saugatuck area is a great place to hunker down. Lakeshore Lodging has the best cabin vacation rentals at which to do just that. Here are our favorite cozy cabins to rent in our little corner of the Lake Michigan lakeshore.
