Location and Beach Access

At just over two miles away from downtown Saugatuck, the location can’t be beat. A paved bike trail picks up in front of the neighborhood taking you right into downtown Saugatuck. The same trail also goes to Lake Michigan– about a 4 mile ride.

Within the neighborhood a boardwalk leads you to spring-fed, no-wake Goshorn lake where you’ll find a swimming dock. If lake access weren’t enough, there is an association swimming pool open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. All of the cabins provided by Lakeshore Lodging have private hot tubs as well.

Are all the cabins the same?

All Kingfisher Cove cabins are roughly the same size and layout, sleeping a maximum of 8 people with three bedrooms and two bathroom. Some of the differences are subtle but each can offer a different experience based on your needs. This list points out the marquee features of each cabin to help you find the right one.
