Saugatuck Events This Summer
pARTY: From 6-8 p.m. on June 4, live performances, drinks, and snacks will be shared as we stroll throughout downtown and enjoy the Art of Douglas.
Thursday Concert Series: Thursdays in June and July will be dedicated to live music and food at Felt Estate! This is one of the most enjoyable recurring Saugatuck events. Admission is free and the schedule is as follows:

Friday Night Open Studios: Every Friday from June 17 to August 12, students from Ox-Bow School of Art, fellows, and MFA & Faculty Artists will be opening their studios to display their work. There will be plenty to see from ceramics, metals, printmaking, glass, paintings, and drawings. There will also be a live auction held nightly that will raise money for maintaining the studios and providing scholarships for students.
Hungry Village Tours’ Father’s Day Tour: Let Dad know how much you appreciate him with an extraordinary culinary adventure. Visit the farms and artisan producers of the Lakeshore and sample hard ciders, wines, and more!
Food and Wine Festival: They say you can never have too much wine, and now there is an entire day dedicated to local foods and wine! Held in the middle of the Fenn Valley Vineyards, this festival boasts live music, tastings, wine demonstrations, and local food vendors. It’s one of the most popular Saugatuck events!
4th of July: Celebrate 4th of July the Saugatuck way with two nights of fireworks (July 3 and 4) and a celebration downtown complete with a patriotic parade.
Tuesday Talks: Interested in the history of Saugatuck? This will be perfect for you! Every Tuesday in July and August will be spent at the Old School House in Downtown Douglas educating attendees all about the region’s rich history. Discussions will include a photographic history tour, information about beekeeping, bringing the blue star trail to Saugatuck-Douglas, and more.
Saugatuck-Douglas Antique Market: Antique lovers, unite! This market is your one stop shop for all things unique. With over 150 booths full of antiques, you’re sure to find something to add to your collection. The event will be held at Beery Field on the second Saturday of each month, rain or shine! Admission is $2.
9th Annual Family Farm Fest: Think you have what it takes to be a farmer? Put your skills to the test during this hands-on celebration of country living. It includes farm-living activities the whole family will enjoy!
Murder for Two: It’s not what it sounds like! Murder for Two is a hilarious whodunnit, a perfect blend of musical comedy and madcap mystery. Don’t miss this killer musical at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts that puts laughter into manslaughter! You can buy your tickets now.
The Great American Trailer Park: The Musical: As one of the most requested musical’s in MSW’s history, it’s a production you definitely won’t want to miss! Broadway.com claimed it as “one of the most laugh-out-loud shows in town” and tells the story of the folk in Armadillo Acres, the most exclusive mobile home community in Stark, Florida.
