4.1.3 FennvilleHistory of Fennville:

Developed in the mid-1830s, Fennville was originally called Fenn's Mill after a lumber mill owned by Elam Atwater Fenn, but was renamed due to a clerical error during the city's development. In the early 1870s, a fire destroyed the town and the local residents were forced to rebuild. Located on a major train route from West Michigan to Chicago, Fennville has served as a traffic hub for many years.

Fennville Today:

Beautiful orchards and vineyards adorn the rolling hills of Fennville providing great scenery for all 4 seasons. Great wine, harvest fruits, and local markets highlight this charming town that is just waiting for a visit! Be sure to visit Su Casa and Salt of the Earth for a fantastic meal on the town.
